A rare, 1950s string chair by Allan Gould. I would be lying if I suggested that this chair was the type of chair someone might use as practical seating, on a day to day basis, but what it lacks in practicality it makes up for in sheer beauty of design. This chair works better, in my opinion, as a piece of art/sculpture, but that is not to say it can't be used at all, as it is also 100% functional and comfortable.
There is one string that sags a little and there are a few spots of dirt on the string; otherwise, it is in very good condition for its age.
