Outstanding Scandinavian design by Fredrik Schriever-Abeln of Sweden. This coffee table, produced circa 1960s, is presented in a rich walnut, which forms the characteristic X-shaped base. Its beautifully curved arms support the heavy, plain glass table top. The clean, straight lines of the glass deftly complement the curves and arcs of the truly elegant base. An understated, fine piece.
