A Beech Ove Boldt windsor armchair by Fritz Hansen, Denmark. A beautiful and simple windsor style armchair designed and made in Denmark in the late 1940s for the British market. The chair has a very Faint CC41 stamp on the underside of the chair. The CC41 stamp was a British government stamp used from 1941 to 1952 on clothing and furniture to indicate a “controlled commodity” during Britain’s post war rationing period. The chair itself is in great condition for a chair that is almost 70 years old.
