This is a super sleek black high gloss vanity table/writing desk/home office desk with stool. The high gloss table has three slimline doors to the front with a matte chrome finish. There are two perspex side panels with chrome covered screws. We are unsure of the Designer but it dates back to the late 1970’s/early 1980’s. Having said that, there is no denying the pedigree of the design in this sublime piece of furniture. It absolutely is pure luxe. In reality, It is solid and heavy. Despite this, the clever use of materials belies this. It feels light and airy and adds a real sense of glamour to it’s surroundings.
We love the contrast between the black high gloss finish against the matte drawers and the perspex/lucite side panels. The stool has been newly recovered in a gorgeous muted tangerine velvet. An added feature is that the seat swivels. Again, it has a solid black base and is edged in perspex. This table would work as well as a vanity table as it would as a smart desk for a home office. Photographed with a variety of seating to demonstrate just how good it can look in either guise.
